Share Certificates

Share certificates are Fort Smith Dixie Cup Federal Credit Union's answer to the bank's money market certificates or certificates of deposit (CD's).

The variable certificate terms and interest rates are available upon request but the following pertains to all certificates:

• There is a substantial interest penalty for early withdrawal

• $1,000.00 minimum deposit

• 6-month and 12-month certificates available

• No Life Savings Insurance on Share Certificates

• No dividend may be paid in excess of available earnings

• Each member is given an equal opportunity to become holders of these types of accounts
