Overview & History
The Fort Smith Dixie Cup Federal Credit Union is an 13-million dollar organization grouping hundreds of Arkansans and Oklahomans, as well as others now living in other parts of the nation, who as members, have jointly deposited funds from which they borrow and receive dividends on their shares.
A membership in the Fort Smith Dixie Cup Federal Credit Union is available to you after you become employed by Dixie Cup of Fort Smith or Rock-Tenn of Fort Smith. You may then participate with other credit union members who share in its benefits. You can save and borrow through the credit union.
You will receive dividends on your share account, and you will pay low interest rates on loans. If you like, you may even save or repay a loan through your company's payroll deduction plan.
Operating since 1949, under a charter issued by an agency of the Federal Government, the Fort Smith Dixie Cup Federal Credit Union is governed by a Board of Directors elected by its membership.
Loan Officers rules on all loans. A Supervisory Committee represents the membership in periodic audits of the credit union records or business practices. The professional staff conducts the daily business of the credit union office.
